Inside the circle of these 24K gold plated earrings is an extremely fine reproduction of what appears to be a textile design motif. Ancient workers of this period produced some of the finest textiles in the world. Their work in cloth has been captured in metal showing the capabilities of metal smiths of that period. These are based on an original pre-Columbian piece located in Colombia's Gold Museum This recreation is handcrafted by artisans in Colombia, South America.
